My Gear
Swimming / Triathlon
- Swimsuit: TYR Competition Diamondfit and Maxfit Swimsuits
- Tri Top & Shorts: SUGOI Blast Tri Tank and Blast Tri Shorts
Cycling
- Bike: 2010 Specialized Dolce. I love this bike! It’s my first road bike and for recreational riding and sprint triathlons, it’s perfect. I was a bit concerned about the white saddle and white tape and yes it gets dirty easily but both are easily replaceable so I am not worried.
- Pedals: Speedplay Light Action
- Shoes: Louis Garneau Tri-Lite Triathlon Cycling Shoes
Running
- Top: Currently the Nike Fast Pace Tank although this may change.
- Shorts: Currently Nike Tempo Track Short but I will probably be switching brands and styles this spring/summer. I’m more into compression shorts and capris these days and have yet to find a pair I love. Update 2/10/13: Just purchased the Saucony Ignite Tight Short II which are a longer length than most compression running shorts and so far I really like them.
- Shoes: Saucony Cortana 2, Brooks Launch and Nike LunarGlide.
Saucony Cortana 2
- Hat: Under Armor Classic Run Cap – Breathable, light-weight, adjustable and built-in sweatband.
- Hydration: For runs over 45 minutes, the Simple Hydration water bottle. For long runs or hikes over 2 hours, the Camelbak Annadel hydration pack.
- Jacket: Under Armour Fly-By Lightweight Women’s Full Zip Jacket. This ultra lightweight jacket is water-resistant and is made from translucent rip stop woven fabric. The jacket offers increased ventilation through a back mesh underlay panel. A front chest zip pocket offers secure storage for smaller items. Got it at a steal for $28 at Sports Authority’s “Going Out of Business” sale!
Miscellanous Gear
- GPS Watch: Garmin Forerunner 10 although I’m keeping my eye on the Bia GPS Sport watch. I still use my Forerunner 305 for cycling.
- Gear/Triathlon Bag: Kiefer Team Bag
- Night Running Vest: Amphipod Xinglet with Pocket
